WHAT ARE GREENHOUSE RESCUES SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
Your membership in Greenhouse Rescue and the placement of your monthly membership
fees, see’s you participate in the following GREEN projects:
1. BIO-FUEL – Greenhouse Rescue Members care about the environment
and by way of their membership, MainStreet International utilise fees and contributions
to develop technology that will be used for the propagation of the Cassava plant
and the Paulownia Tree for the production of Ethanol used in the production of Bio-fuel,
which will lower the production of carbon emissions into earth’s atmosphere in years
to come. The company owns strategic technology such as Agriponics which is used
to produce Cassava mother root stock and Paulownia tree seedlings
2. KOALA HABITAT – This project has been specifically directed
at Koala populations in South East Queensland where this species has specific problems
directly as a result of loss of habitat see in recent years due to the massive increase
of human population and residential and commercial development. This project has
been set up at www.koalablue.com a web site that is dedicated to raise money, public
awareness across Australia and internationally and government support. The portion
of your Greenhouse Rescue Membership Fee that is used to support this project is
urgently needed especially by the Koala population in the Redlands area of South
East Queensland which see a 30% reduction in Koala population per year, leaving
less than 5 years left for this species – a massive problem and one of concern to
all Greenhouse Rescue Members.
